The agency and its mission

The Agenzia del Demanio, launched in 2001 and transformed into a Public Economic Body in 2003, is the organisation entrusted with the management and enhancement of the State’s property portfolio. In the wake of a period characterised by the commitment to creating and consolidating an infrastructure with the capacity to fulfil the assigned mission, the Agency has entered a phase of full operational effectiveness, concentrating both its resources and the expertise it has built up on planning out new strategies for the management of the public property portfolio, including the development of focused networks with organisations and institutions that operate in the real estate sector.
